The Pop Project

The Pop Project are looking to return to schools from September.  We will be offering our new very special show for the Autumn Term :

Moving on

Helping your children to move on post-Covid

This show takes elements from several of our previous shows to emphasise the importance of moving on from what we've all been through and maybe finding something better than before.

The show covers :

Good mental health
The need to look after our minds and to find happiness and enjoyment in our lives

Valuing others and deciding what things are important
Saluting our community heroes, kindness and respect for each other

Positivity and looking forward
Developing good attitudes and facing the future optimistically

We include the usual Pop Project elements - singing, dancing, activities for the children - all linked in a presentation including pictures, videos and display

All the songs are our most uplifting :
I feel good, Walking on sunshine, Ain't no stopping us now, Reach for the stars and more

We provide a 80 minute show for all your KS2 children and a 40 minute show for all your KS1/Foundation children, all in half a day.

We shall continue to maintain social distancing for the foreseeable future.
We have no direct interaction with individual children in this show - the activities are for the whole audience.
We will adhere to all particular requirements of the school.

What schools say about The Pop Project :

"We just wanted to say thank you so much for the fantastic Beatles workshop!  It all went so well and everybody loved it!  It certainly fitted in really well with our topic for the new History curriculum and we will definitely recommend you!"

Holy Name Primary, Liverpool

"Just wanted to say how fantastic you all were this morning. The children had a brilliant time, as did the staff! The dancing and singing was excellent fun. Thank you very much!"

Parkroyal Primary, Macclesfield

"... a huge thank you for coming to us. Not only did we all learn a lot but everyone throughly enjoyed themselves during the performance. The effort that you put into setting up the background area, the differentiation in performances for the different age ranges and the interaction that you created with your audience made for a very special morning for the children. The children (and staff) couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed it which created a brilliant start to our activities in school. We will without doubt be booking you again in the future!…"

Garrett Hall Primary, Wigan

"Thank you very much for such a wonderful morning of, history, ICT, music, design and technology, reading and everything else that was in there; it was jam packed. The children really enjoyed and I will be recommending you to other colleagues."

St Elphin's Primary, Warrington
"As always, we had a ball! All the children really enjoyed the shows and learned loads!  The staff were 'uplifted' - which was my plan as it was Parent's Night so they needed a boost!"

Headteacher - St Aidan's Primary, Manchester

"Just wanted to say thanks once again! Least amount of work I have ever done to get so much praise!"

Teacher who made the booking !! - Hamer Primary School, Rochdale

“ ... a great original idea ... the children loved the show and learned a lot”

Thingwall Primary School, Wirral

"Every single child was engaged ... incredible value for money ... we'll be booking you again!"

Worsley Mesnes Primary School, Wigan

"It was such a fun experience for everyone and they learned such a lot - the time just flew by!  They are still singing the songs around school.  It was the perfect way to round off our topic of Popular Culture"

Beechwood Primary, Runcorn
